Terms of Service

BlockFront designs, builds, hosts, and maintains websites for local businesses on a monthly subscription. These Terms govern your use of our websites and services (the “Service”). By subscribing you agree to these Terms.

Your subscription includes a professionally designed website, hosting, security, ongoing maintenance and updates, mobile optimization, and support. Where included in your plan, we also register and connect a domain name on your behalf (see “Domain names” below). We may improve or modify features over time; we will not materially reduce the core service you pay for without notice.

The Service is billed at $149 per month unless a different price is stated at checkout. Your first month is charged when you subscribe. Your subscription automatically renews each month and your payment method is charged until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.

If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend the Service until payment is resolved. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.

You may cancel at any time, with no cancellation fee. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again after that. To cancel, use the “Manage or cancel subscription” link in the footer of any page or email us at michael@blockfront.nyc.

Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period, including partial months after cancellation. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at michael@blockfront.nyc and we will review it in good faith.

Where your plan includes a domain, we register and manage it on your behalf as part of your active subscription. While you remain subscribed, the domain is used exclusively for your website. If you cancel, you may request transfer of the domain to your own registrar account, subject to standard registrar and ICANN transfer rules (including any applicable transfer-lock period after registration). Domain registration fees paid on your behalf are non-refundable.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information, hours, pricing, claims, text, images, and other materials displayed on or provided for your website. You represent that you are authorized to act for the business, and that you have the rights to any materials you provide to us. You grant us a license to host, display, and modify that content for the purpose of operating your website.

You agree not to use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or infringing purposes, and not to publish content that is illegal, fraudulent, or violates the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate the Service for violations of this section.

The Service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee specific results, search rankings, traffic, or revenue. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlockFront is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York.
